John Hempton. In fairness, Hempton somewhat misconstrues Krugman’s assertion…by “great newspaper”, he was almost certainly not talking about circulation. And the success of the Financial Times counters his assertion that “prejudice sell media”. That is clearly an attractive model, but it is not the only model.
